34 Phonebook Features

Creating a Super Dial Entry

Super Dia l q ui ckly dials a phone number wh en you press an d hol d a digit
key that you have assi gned to a number saved in your Phonebook. You
can c reate nine Su per Dial entries, one for each of the digi t keys
( ) on you r keypad.
1From standby, pr es s ( ) to enter the P honebook.
2Scroll to Super Dial and pr ess (OK).
The key assignment list is displayed. The first time you do this, the keys
through are listed as Not Assigned.
Note: To assign the key as the emergency call number
911, you have to enable Emergency Call. See Emergency
Call on page 57 for instructions on how to do this.
3Scroll to the di gi t key you want to assi gn and press (ASSIGN ).
A list of the names in your Phonebook is displayed.
When Emergency Call is disabled, you can assign the key to a
number in your Phonebook.
4Scroll to the name you want to create a Super Dial entry for and press
(OK).
A list of the phone numbers for that name is displayed: ( Home
phone, Work phone, Cell phone, and so on).
5Scr oll t o the numb er yo u want t o us e for the S uper Dial entr y and pres s
(OK).
The key assignment list is displayed showing the name and digit key
assignment you created.
6To create another Super Dial entry, repeat ste ps 3 through 5.
OR
To return to the Phonebook menu, press (BACK).

Changing or Deleting a Super Dial Entry

1From standby, pr es s ( ) to enter the P honebook.
2Scroll to Super Dial and pr ess (OK).
The key assignment list is displayed.
3Scroll to the entr y you want to cha ng e or delete and press
(ASSIGN).
4To change the entry, press (OK).
The Phonebook is displayed and you can select another phone number
for the key.
OR
To delete the entry, scroll to Delete and press (OK).
Confirm th e del et i on by pr essing (YES), or can cel it by pre ssing
(NO).
