Caution: Do no t leav e t he phone with out an attached battery
during the time set for an alarm. Doing so could harm the phone’s
internal battery.
1From standby, press (MENU) to enter the Main Menu.
2Scroll to Phone Settings and press (OK).
3Scroll to Time Settings and pr ess ( O K) .
4Scroll to Alarm Settings and press (OK).
Alarm 1 is displayed.
5Press or to scroll to a differen t alarm (10 alarms) . When the
alarm you w ant to set is di splayed, press (SELECT).
The display indicates if the current alarm is set on or off.
6Scroll to the sett in g you want and pr ess ( O K).
If yo u sel ect On, the Alarm Type menu is displayed.
If yo u sel ect Off, the display returns to standby.
7If you se lect ed On, press or to select the alarm type (Daily or
One Time). Pre ss (OK).
8If you se lect ed Daily, enter the time in your chosen format (see
Select ing 24-hour o r 12-hour Mode on page 12).
OR
If you selected One Time, enter the required alarm date in your chosen
format (see Changing the Date Format on page 12). Then press
and enter th e t ime.
9If necessary, pr ess to move to the AM/ PM setting an d pr ess
(AM/PM) to switch b etw e e n AM a n d PM.
10 When you have set the time and da t e, pr ess (O K).
11 Press or to select Preset or Custom from the Alarm Memo
display and press (OK).
If you selected Preset, press or to select one of the following
preset messages to be displayed when the alarm goes off:
If you selected Custom, enter the message (16 characters or less) to be
displayed when the alarm goes off. See Chapter 4, Text Entry
Operations for details about entering text.
12 Once yo u have selected or entered t he m essage to be dis pl ayed with
the alarm, press (OK) .
The alarm icon is displayed.
