Power-On Lock

When Pow er-On Lock is activated , the phone lock s automatic all y

whene ver pow ered off and restr ic ts unauthorized use. Whe n t he phone is

powered on again, you ar e r equired to enter the lock code. To tempo ra rily

deactivate this featur e, see “Deactivat i ng the Power-O n Lock from

Standby”. To disable this feature completely, see “Disabling the Power-On

Lock”.

Activating the Power-On Lock

1From standby, press (MENU ) to ent er the M ain Menu.

2Scroll to Security and press (OK).

3Scroll to Power-On Lock and press (OK).

4To change the setting, scroll to the other setting and press (OK).

5If you se le ct On, en t er the lock code and press (OK).

Deactivating the Power-On Lock from Standby

Once Power-On Lock is activated, turning the phone of f/on does not turn

this featur e off. You can turn off Power-On Lock te m porarily by follo w i ng

these inst r uct i ons.

1When th e st andby display indicate s th at Pow e r- O n Lock is activat ed,

press (UNLOCK).

2Enter the lock code, and press (OK).

•Power-On Lock is temporarily deactivate d (until you turn your phone

off/on again).

1From standby, press (MENU ) to ent er the M ain Menu.

2Scroll to Security and press (OK) .

3Scroll to Power-On Lock and press (OK).

4Scroll to select Off and pr ess (OK).

5Enter the lock code and pr ess (OK).
