10 Configure the basic settings of the camera [Basic]

•Default: None (blank)

[OSD] - [Position]

Select the position where the time and date and a character string to be displayed on the image of the “Live” page.

•Upper left: The above information will be displayed at the upper left corner of the main area on the “Live” page.

•Lower left: The above information will be displayed at the lower left corner of the main area on the “Live” page.

•Upper right: The above information will be displayed at the upper right corner of the main area on the “Live” page.

•Lower right: The above information will be displayed at the lower right corner of the main area on the “Live” page.

•Default: Upper left

[Brightness status display]

Select “On” or “Off” to determine whether or not to display the status of brightness on images displayed on the “Live” page when adjusting brightness.

•Default: On

[Upside-down]

Select “On” or “Off” to determine whether or not to turn the image upside-down.

•Default: Off

IMPORTANT

•If the “Upside-down” setting is changed when the following area settings are configured, perform the area setting again.

–Privacy zone (→page 115)

–VMD area (→page 132)

–VIQS area (→page 117)

–Mask area (→page 106)

•If the “Upside-down” setting is changed when a preset position is configured, perform the preset position setting again. (→page 109)

•The upside-down function can be used when “<Ceiling>” is selected for “Image capture mode” (2M Double Panorama [16:9]/ 1M Double Panorama [16:9]/ 1.3M Quad PTZ [4:3]/ 1.3M Single PTZ [4:3]/ Double Panorama + Quad PTZ/ Double Panorama + Single PTZ). (→page 85)

[Indicator]

Determine whether or not to use the following indicators. Select “On” to use the following indicators to check the operational status by lighting them. Select “Off” to turn off the indicators at all times.

–Link indicator

–Access indicator

–SD memory card error indicator

• Default: On

Note

•Link indicator (orange): This indicator will light when communication with the connected device is available.

•Access indicator (green): This indicator will light when accessing a network.

•SD memory card error indicator (red): Lights when an error occurred in the SD memory card.
