11.4 Configure the settings relating to the cameraoperations [Cam. Function]
Click the [Cam. Function] tab on the “Image/Audio” page. (®page 51, page 53)
Configure the settings relating to camera operations.
IMPORTANT
•This function is available when a “Image capture mode” setting containing Single PTZ or Quad PTZ is
selected. (®page 9) Specifically, the following options can be selected for “Image capture mode”.
1.3M Quad PTZ [4:3]/ 1.3M Single PTZ [4:3]/ Panorama + Quad PTZ/ Panorama + Single PTZ/ Double
Panorama + Quad PTZ/ Double Panorama + Single PTZ
[Self return]
When the time set for “Self return time” has passed after manual operations of the camera, the camera will
automatically be in the selected mode.
•Off: Self return is not performed.
•Home position: When the set time has passed, the camera will move to the home position automatically.
•Auto pan: When the set time period has elapsed, the camera will start automatic panning. In Quad PTZ
screen, auto pan only operates on the top left image.
–When “1.3M Quad PTZ [4:3]”, “1.3M Single PTZ [4:3]”, “Double Panorama + Quad PTZ”, or “Double
Panorama + Single PTZ” with “<Ceiling>” is selected for “Image capture mode”: The camera rotates
360° to the right from the present position in endless mode.
–When “1.3M Quad PTZ [4:3]”, “1.3M Single PTZ [4:3]”, “Panorama + Quad PTZ”, or “Panorama + Single
PTZ” with “<Wall>” is selected for “Image capture mode”: The camera moves in the horizontal direction
from the present position, and rotates in the opposite direction from the 180° endpoint in endless mode.
The camera stops for 5 seconds at the endpoint.
•Preset sequence: When the set time period has elapsed, the camera will start the sequence display.
The camera automatically moves to the preset positions in sequence starting from the lowest preset
position number.
The camera stops at the preset position for the specified length of time.
Once the camera has moved to the last preset position, it starts from the first preset position again.
In Quad PTZ screen, sequence only operates on the top left image.
•Default: Off
Note
•This function is also useful to automatically set the camera in a specific mode when the power of the
camera is turned on.
•The self return function works even when the setup menu is displayed.
•When Single PTZ is displayed, preset position 1 is used for its home position. When Quad PTZ is
displayed, preset positions 1, 2, 3, and 4 are used for the home positions of the corresponding screens
(1, 2, 3, and 4).
