SuperTrak EX Series User Manual

•The physical drive in channel 4 is a revertible spare drive.

The physical drive in channel 2 fails. The disk array becomes degraded and its logical drives go critical. The SuperTrak controller automatically rebuilds the disk array using the revertible spare drive, the physical drive in channel 4.

When the rebuild is finished, the disk array and logical drives are OK again.

•The physical drives in channels 1 and 4 belong to the disk array.

•The physical drive in channel 2 has failed and is unusable.

•The physical drive in channel 3 is unconfigured.

Note that there is no spare drive at this moment.
