Front-Panel Operating Instructions

Step	Action	Key	Display
1	Bring the cursor under the top row (if not	CURSOR
	already there)
2	Scroll to display the desired group of	SCROLL	Second row shows the first parameter in the
	parameters in the top row		selected group and its current value
	NOTE
	When the desired group of parameters
	must be independently selected for each
	link, the top row includes an additional
	field (at the rightmost side of the top
	row): this field is used to select the
	desired link number. In this case, use the
	CURSOR key to bring the cursor to the
	rightmost field, then SCROLL to show
	the desired link number.
3	When the second row has more than one	CURSOR	The second row shows the parameter name
	field, bring the cursor under the left-hand	SCROLL	and its current value
	field (parameter name) in the second row,
	and then scroll to display the desired
	parameter in the selected group
4	Bring the cursor under the right-hand field	CURSOR
	(the parameter value) in the second row
5	Scroll to set the required value for the	SCROLL	The second row shows the available values
	displayed parameter
6	When the desired parameter value is	ENTER	The cursor returns to the first field in the top
	displayed, select the new parameter value		row. The second row displays shortly
	NOTE		CONFIG ENTER, then returns to the normal
	You must press ENTER after changing		display
	parameters of a certain group, e.g.,
	SYSTEM. If you change parameter
	values, but return the cursor to the first
	field and scroll to another group
	without pressing ENTER, the changes
	are discarded and you will see the
	message CONFIG LOST.
7	Repeat steps 3 through 6 until values are	SCROLL	The second row shows the current selection
	assigned to all the parameters in the group
8	Repeat steps 1 through 7 until values are	SCROLL	The second row shows the current selection
	assigned to all the parameters in the desired
	groups
