Automatically Time Sync

Select <On> to synchronize the local time automatically every hour.

NOTE: If you want the unit to automatically synchronize the local time, the <Time Zone> item MUST NOT be set to <Off>, or the function cannot be activated.

Manually Time Sync

Select <Yes> to instantly synchronize the local time.

5.1.4Unit Name

Users are allowed to assign a name, up to 11 characters, to the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit.

Follow the steps below to edit the unit name.

•Select <Unit Name> from System Setup menu and press ENTER. A virtual keyboard displays.

•Press ENTER to add the character to the entry field (up to 11 characters).

•When done, move the cursor to <OK> and press ENTER to save the settings and exit.

5.1.5Show Unit Name

Select <Yes> to show the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit name on the

monitor or <No> hide the unit name.
