Setup

Adjusting the Display Contrast

Follow these steps to adjust the contrast of the control panel display. Eight levels of contrast are available.

A Press the {User Tools} key.

B Enter the code for "Fax Features" with the number keys.

C Enter the code for "Setup" with the number keys.D Enter the code for "Display Con- trast" with the number keys.E Press 0 or 1 key to adjust the contrast.

F Press [OK].

Note

❒If you press [Cancel], the display in step D reappears.

G Press [PrevMenu] twice.

H Press [Exit] to return to standby mode.Date/Time

Use this function to set your ma- chine's internal clock to the current time and date. This time is shown on the display, printed on pages and

used for various features, such as 6 Send Later.

If the current date and time are wrong, use this procedure to correct them.

Note

❒The machine automatically sets the internal clock one hour ahead when daylight saving time begins, and one hour back when it ends.

A Press the {User Tools} key.
