-Sending confidential faxes to other makers' machines

Confidential Transmission is only possible with machines of the same make that have the Confidential Transmission feature. However, if you use the SUB/SID function, you can send and receive confidential fax- es to and from other makers' machines that have the SUB/SID feature. See p.13 “SUB Code Transmission with the Mode Key”.
