The fiber-optic standard cable contains two multimode graded fibers of type 62.5/125 ∝ m.

The outer jacket is labeled “SIEMENS SIMATIC NET FIBER-OPTIC 6XV1

820-5AH10” approximately every 50 cm. Meter markers consisting of a vertical line and a 4-figure number make it easier to estimate the length of an installed cable.
