This command enables a called subscriber to get the identity of the calling line when receiving a mobile terminated call. The “Set” command enables or disables the presentation of the CLI (calling line identity) at the TE. It has no effect on the execution of the supplementary service CLIP in the network.
When the presentation of the CLI at the TE is enabled (if the calling subscriber has allowed it), the unsolicited result code +CLIP:<number>,<type>,,,<alpha> response is returned after every RING (or +CRING:<type>) result code sent from TA to TE (refer to AT +CRC in section ???????).Whether this will be used when a normal voice call is answered is a
