3.1General
This chapter explains the diagnostic programs for testing and diagnosing the functions of the hardware components of this computer. The diagnostic programs can be categorized into two types: OPTION and DIAGNOSTIC TEST.
NOTE: Before running a test, be sure to:
1.Check that all the cables are connected securely.
2.Exit the application that is currently running and close Windows.
The OPTION consists of the following functions..

System Information
Get the following tools prepared before running the diagnostic programs:
A Service Diagnostic BOOT CD A Formatted FLOPPY DISK
A LPT Loop back Connector (for LPT port Loop back test) A standard LPT printer (for LPT Printer test)
A Test Media CD
An External Monitor (for DISPLAY test)
