Crop

The Crop tool deletes the portion of the image outside the bounding box. By deleting the portion outside the bounding box, you are reducing the size of the file in bytes.

Cropping the Image Use the Crop feature to delete unwanted portions of the image. Using this feature changes the physical dimensions of the image; this means that the output image will be smaller than the original. To preserve the original dimensions, use the Frame feature instead.

NOTE: By default, the Mask Page Edge feature is active.

However, if you select Crop or Mask on the Image Size tab, the

Mask Page Edge feature is disabled.
