Primary Network

Select the Primary Network Device

 

This parameter determines which device should be considered primary in the active

 

device selection.

External Device

This parameter tells whether to use the printer’s or the print server’s LAN/WLAN

 

settings at power-up. The default is to use the printer’s settings.

Active Print

View the Active Print Server

 

 

Server

This menu item displays which print server is being used. This tells which device’s

 

settings such as IP protocol and IP address are being displayed under those menu items.

 

Accepted values:

• WIRELESS indicates that the wireless print server

 

 

 

is active.

 

 

• INTERNAL WIRED indicates that the internal

 

 

 

wired print server is active.

 

 

• EXTERNAL WIRED indicates that an external

 

 

 

wired print server is active.

 

 

• NONE indicates that one of the network options is

 

 

 

installed but is not active. When NONE is shown

 

 

 

for this menu item, the device-specific items such

 

 

 

as IP protocol and IP address will not display.
