Configuring SNMP Communities

Access to the hub’s on-board management agent via in-band management software is controlled with community strings. Use the SNMP Communities command to edit community strings and access rights as shown below:

Menu items are briefly described in the following table.

Description

A community entry authorized for management access.

Management access is restricted to Read Only or Read/Write.

The current entry can be ENABLED or DISABLED.
