Intended Audience

This document is intended for anyone who is responsible for installing and maintaining the Avaya Computer Telephony software. Additionally, this document assumes that the reader has the following knowledge or skills.

A basic understanding of CTI, such as the roles of the switch, the server, and client workstations

Familiarity with Telecommunications Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) addressing

A working knowledge of Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

Basic administrative skills on DEFINITY and Multi Application Platform for DEFINITY (MAPD)
