Security — DEFINITY ONE/IP600and Avaya MultiVantage S8100 Configurations

Figure 1-4 depicts two optional connection methods, a non-isolated link on the same LAN segment and an isolated, secure link on a separate LAN segment. Be sure to review Figure 1-4 and note the security issues and toll fraud implications. Use a separate, secure link connecting to DEFINITY ONE/IP600 or S8100 Media Server configuration.

With this connection option, DEFINITY ONE is not isolated from the

rest of the network.

The client and the switch use the same LAN segment.
