Application Development Basics

1.Obtain a JtapiPeer object using the JtapiPeerFactory class. The TsapiPeer class represents the Avaya JTAPI implementation.

For example:

jtapiPeer = JtapiPeerFactory.getJtapiPeer("com.avaya.jtapi.tsapi.TsapiPeer")

2.Obtain a list of available tlinks by using the getServices() method of the JtapiPeer class.

For example:

String[] tlinks = jtapiPeer.getServices();

3.Obtain a Provider object using the getProvider() method of the TsapiPeer class. Specify Tserver TLINK name and Tserver login and password.

For example:

provider = tsapiPeer.getProvider("avaya#cstaserv#csta#myserver;" + "login=user1;" + "passwd=user1pass;")
