Download Method (Selectable)

This ﬁeld toggles between BOOTP, TFTP, and RUNTIME. If set for BootP, the device sends out a BootP request to determine the IP address of the TFTP server and the ﬁle name of the image to be downloaded. If set for TFTP or RUNTIME, the 2H23-50R or 2H33-37R attempts a TFTP download based on the IP address and ﬁle name entered in the ﬁelds at the bottom of the Flash Download screen. Section 5.14.1 describes how to download using BootP. Section 5.14.2 describes how to download using TFTP. Section 5.14.3 describes how to download using Runtime.
