•Switch 7 – Clear NVRAM. Changing the position of this switch resets NVRAM on the next power-up. All user-entered parameters, such as the IP address, device names, etc., are reset to the factory default settings. Once the device resets, you can either use the factory default settings or reenter your own parameters.

Appendix C: Optional Installations and Mode Switch Bank Settings

Switch 7 – Clear NVRAM. Changing the position of this switch resets NVRAM on the next power-up. All user-entered parameters, such as the IP address, device names, etc., are reset to the factory default settings. Once the device resets, you can either use the factory default settings or reenter your own parameters.

Switch 8 – Reset Password/Community names. Changing the position of this switch clears user-entered passwords stored in NVRAM, and restores the factory default passwords on the next power-up. Once the device resets, you can either use the factory default settings or reenter your own passwords.

NOTE

Do not change the position of switch 8 unless it is necessary to reset the module super-user configured passwords to their factory default settings.
