SmartTrunk and the Configuration Screen

SMARTTRUNK CONFIGURATION menu item and pressing ENTER. The SmartTrunk Configuration screen displays.

Interfaces with the Port Name “Backplane” may display on this screen. These ports may not be used for SmartTrunking. Poor network performance will result if backplane ports are used as SmartTrunk interfaces. Section 5.20.1 details all SmartTrunk configuration rules.

The DLE2X-MA and DLE3X-MA ports must be connected to a product that supports SmartTrunking for load sharing to function.
