Removing the Chassis Cover
•Switch 7 – Clear NVRAM. Changing the position of this switch resets NVRAM on either the next power-up or the next operation of the front panel RESET button. All user-entered parameters, such as the IP address, device names, etc., are reset to the factory default settings. Once the 2M46-04R resets, you can either use the factory default settings or reenter your own parameters.
•Switch 8 – Reset Password/Community Strings. Changing the position of this switch clears user-entered passwords stored in NVRAM, and restores the factory default passwords on either the next power-up or the next operation of the front panel RESET button. Once the
2M46-04R resets, you can either use the factory default settings or re-enter your own passwords.
