ICSConfig Program
The ICSConfig program is a component that is installed on the SPE running System Manager. When the Cisco ICS 7750 is started for the first time, the system must collect certain configuration information to communicate with the network. ICSConfig runs a discovery routine that identifies all the cards and the software installed on the cards. If the discovery routine finds errors, it displays error messages. The discovery stage must finish without any errors before the configuration stage can begin.
The
•IP address information for the systems cards installed in the ICS 7750 chassis
•Network and Dynamic Host Configuration Program (DHCP) information for IP phones and other network devices
•Domain Name Server (DNS) and gateway information
