7.4 STATIC VLAN EGRESS CONFIGURATION SCREEN
When to Use

To set the type of egress (tag status) for each or all ports associated with a VLAN selected from the

Static VLAN Configuration screen. The ports can be set using the following selections:

UNTAGGED – sets the port to transmit frames without a tag header. This setting is usually set

to configure a port connected to an end user device.

TAGG ED – sets the port to transmit frames with a tag header to associate the frame

with the VLAN. This setting is usually to configure a port as a trunk port to another switch.

NO – sets the port so it does not transmit frames (tagged or untagged) of the VLAN.
How to Access

Use the arrow keys to highlight the line item with the VLAN ID of interest on the Static VLAN

Configuration screen and press ENTER. The Static VLAN Egress Configuration screen,

Figure 7-4, displays.
