B01[******]D1 (****** = current title, D1 = Disk-1)

Rotating the JOG dial will toggle between “B01” and “Eject.”

If you wish to cancel the load operation and remove the disk, select “Eject” and press the EXECUTE/ YES key.

4.While “B01[******]D1 appears on the display, press the EXECUTE/YES key. (“SURE?” flashes).

The current Program number flashes and you can select the load destination Program.

5.Use the JOG dial to select a Program into which to load data. (“SURE?” flashes.)

If you select a Program that already contains data and execute the load operation, that existing data will be overwritten by the new data. If you do not wish to overwrite data in the Program, use the JOG dial to select “New PGM” to execute the load operation.

6.Press the EXECUTE/YES key. (“REMAIN” and “LOAD” light up.)

Load operation will start, and the D-160 will display “B01>>P01 -***MB.”

This means that Backup 1 (B01) data in the SCSI disk is being loaded into Program 1 (P01) on the internal hard disk. As the operation progresses, the number “-***MB” (remaining data amount to be loaded) will count down. When loading from the first disk is complete, the message “Insert Disk2” appears and the first disk is automatically ejected.

7.Insert the second disk into the SCSI device.

Loading from the second disk automatically starts. The display and count down are the same as those for the first disk.

After all data is loaded, “COMPLETED!” lights up, and Time Base of the destination Program will be located. Press the STOP button or the EXIT/NO key, and “COMPLETED!” will turn off.

*You cannot abort a load operation on a SCSI device while it is in progress.

*To enter a title for the SCSI disk, go to “2-20. Drive Sel.?” menu in the Setup mode and change the current drive to “SCSI,” then go to “2-4. Title Edit?” menu in the Setup mode to enter the title.

If an error occurs during execution of load and "Error 36" appears in the display, carry out the following steps:

1. Press the EXIT/NO key.

"Retry?" will appear in the display.

2. If load is to be executed again, press the EXECUTE/YES key upon display of "Retry?." Load will be executed again.

If ALL load was carried out in this process, load will be executed again from where the error occurred. Also, if several disks are used for the load, it will load again from head of the disk in which the error occurred.

3. If it is to be canceled without executing load, press the EXIT/NO key upon display of "Retry?."
