6.Attach the rails to the rack, both sides as shown in Figure 4-9 “ Attach Sliding Rail to Rack”.

CAUTION: Keep switch supported until rail is attached to the rack.

7.Securely attach all rails to the rack.

Remove Shipping Sleeve

Underneath each power supply is a shipping sleeve. Take the bezel off and remove the entire sleeve by gently pulling on the tab. Replace the bezel.

Remove Support Bracket (if installed)

If switches are pre-installed in a rack, there will be a Support Bracket under each switch. This should be removed after the rack is in its final location. The space should be filled with additional equipment or a 1U filler panel.
