shutdown

 

Disables the specified InfiniBand cards and ports.

 

 

 

no

 

The no keyword disables the specified InfiniBand cards and ports.

 

 

 

Command Modes: Configuration interface (config-if) mode.

Privilege Level: InfiniBand read-write user.

Usage Guidelines: InfiniBand ports must be enabled before they can be configured. Attempts to configure a disabled InfiniBand port will result in an error message. If you get an error message, display the information for the ports in question.

Examples:

HP-IB(config-if-ib-15/1-15/6)# no shutdown

The result of this command is reflected in the admin-status field when displaying interface information. This example sets the admin-status field for ports 1 through 6 on InfiniBand card 15 to up.

Defaults: The default interface name is card#/port#.
