Syntax

Description

 

 

address-table

This keyword displays the address information of Ethernet interface ports, Ethernet interface cards,

 

and InfiniBand interface cards. It lists the IP addresses, netmasks, broadcast formats, reassembly

 

sizes, and whether or not the IP address is a primary or backup.

 

 

ip-over-ib-mtu

This keyword displays the maximum size of the packet payload of IP-over-IB traffic along a path

 

from the source to its destination on the subnet. The maximum transmission unit is described in

 

terms of payload size.

 

 

route

This keyword displays the Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) forwarding records or routes

 

(both static and dynamic) of all IP routes to system ports. Included in this information are the route

 

destination, route type, route protocol, next hop, and port used.

 

 

Command Modes: User-execute and privileged-execute modes.

Privilege Level: Ethernet read-only user (address-table).InfiniBand and Ethernet read-only user (ip-over-ib-mtu).Ethernet read-only user (route).Usage Guidelines: Refer to the Ethernet chapter for all ip-related commands.

Examples: The example below shows the output of the show ip ip-over-ib-mtu command.

show location

Synopsis: The show location command displays the location field that is returned by the show version command.

Syntax: show location

Command Modes: User-execute and privileged-execute modes.

Privilege Level: General read-only user.

Usage Guidelines: The show location command displays some contact information to the user, however, it may be configured to display any desired text string.

Synopsis: The show logging command displays the active system log file in which are recorded the warnings, errors, notifications, alerts, etc. that occur once the system is successfully booted.
