The file name, saved in the USB-Memory, can be renamed from the transceiver as desired.

qDuring setting save screen display, push [F-1•DIR/FILE] to select tree view screen.

•Push [F-2•Y] or [F-3•Z] to select the desired folder.

•“DECODE,” “SETTING” and “VOICE” folders are avail- able as the default.

•After the folder is selected, push and hold [F-4•Ω ≈] for 1 sec. to display content folder(s), if available.

wPush [F-1•DIR/FILE] to select file list screen.

e Push [F-2•Y] or [F-3•Z] to select the desired file. r Push [F-5•REN/DEL] momentarily to select the file

name edit condition.

t Push [ABC] (MF6), [123] (MF7) or [Symbol] (MF7) to select the character group, then rotate the main dial to select the character.

•[ABC] (MF6): A to Z (capital letters); [123] (MF7): 0 to 9

(numerals); [Symbol] (MF7): ! # $ % & ‘ ` ^ + – = ( ) [ ] { } _ ~ @ can be selected.

•Push [F-1•Ω] to move the cursor left, push [F-2•≈] to move the cursor right, push [F-3•DEL] to delete a char- acter and push [F-4•SPACE] to insert a space.

•Pushing the transceiver’s keypad, [0]–[9], can also enter numerals.

y Push EXIT/SET to set the file name.
