MCM logs

MCM 3.0 generates a daily log file with no maximum size restrictions and no cleanup procedures are implemented. The contents of the existing log file remain in all cases.

SNMP is not supported on the MCM 3.0 application. Alarms are logged to an MCM log file in addition to the Windows 2003 Event Viewer.

MCM 3.0 logging has the following levels:

•None: No messages or alarms are logged to the file. (Alarms are still logged to Windows Event Viewer).
