Keeps the link between a subscriber unit and headend “alive” even if

 

data is not being transmitted. Snapshot is taken when a stationary range

 

burst is received.

Keeps the link between a subscriber unit and headend “alive” even if

 

data is not being transmitted. Snapshot is taken when a stationary rang-

 

ing data burst is received.

Snapshot is taken when request access burst is received.

Snapshot is taken when automatic level control (ALC) burst is received.

Snapshot is taken when NULL burst is received. It measures ambient

Usage Guidelines A snapshot is a specified amount of data captured from the wireless modem card.

When you issue a snapshot request, as many as four simultaneous radio signal attributes can be captured. The four attributes are specified by the bitwise OR operation data of as many as four of the snapshot types.
