1.Press theplay mode button and pressthe menu
button.
2.Press the LEFT/RIGHT buttonand select the
[PROTEC]] menutab.
3.Select a desired sub menu by pressing the UP/
DOWNbuttonand pressthe OK button.
[Select] : Selection window for an image to be
protected/releasedisdisplayed.
-Up/Down/Left/Right :Selectan image
-Zoom W/T Button :Protect/releasethe image
-OK button :Yourchanges will be
savedand the menuwill
disappear.

-If you protect an image, the protect icon will be
displayedon the LCD monitor.(An unprotected
imagehas noindicator)
-An image inLOCKmode wiltbeprotected from
thedelete function or [Delete]functions, but will
NOTbe protected from the [Format] function.
Ofall the files stored in the memory card, the unprotected flies in the DCIM
subfolderwillbe deleted. Remember that thiswiltpermanentIy delete
unprotectedimages.Important shots should be storedon a computer before
deletiontakes place.The startup image is storedin the camera's internal
memory(i.e., noton thememory card) and it will not be deleted even if you
deleteall files on the memorycard.
Deletingimages
1.Pressthe play mode button and press the menu
button.
2.Press the LEFT/RIGHT buttonand select the
[Delete]menutab.
3.Select a desired sub menu by pressing the UP/
DOWNbuttonand pressthe OK button.
