When I open the DeviceManager (byclicking Start _ (Settings) ControlPanel _ (Performanceand Maintenance) _ System (Hardware) _ DeviceManager), there are Unknown Devicesor Other Devicesentries with ayellow question mark(?) beside them or devices with an exclamation mark(!) beside them.
In come security programs (Norton Anti Virus,V3, etc.),the computer may notrecegnise the camera as a removable disk.
Stopthe security programs and connect thecamera to the computer. Refer to the security program instructionsabout how to temporarily disable the program.
The camera is connectedto the USB port locatedon the front of the computer.
When the camera is connected to the USB port located on thefront of thecomputer, the computer may not recognise thecamera. Connect thecamera to the USB port locatedon the back of the computer.
•When the movie clip doesn'tplay back on the PC
÷When the movie clip recorded by the camera doesn'tplay back on the PC, the causes are mostlydue to the codec installedon the PC.
•When codec for play back the movie clip isn'tinstalled
Installthe codec as listed below.

2)Click the [Free Download] button locatedat the upperright side of the page and a window for downloadingthe DivX codec will display.
3)Select MacOS you use and click the [Download] button. Save it on a folder you want to.
4)Run the downloadedfile and the codec for playing back the movie clip wilt be installed.
÷Ifa movie clip can'tplay back on the Mac OS, use a media playerthat supports XviD codec (Mplayer).
