1.tnany modewith the exception of Voice
Recordingmode, press the MENU button.
2.Press the LEFT/RIGHT buttonand selectthe
[SETUP]menu tab.
3.Select the [File ] menuby pressingthe UP/
DOWNbutton and press the RIGHT button.
4.Select a desired sub menu bypressingthe UP/
DOWNbutton and press the OK button.
[Series]:New files are named using numbers that follow the previous
sequence,evenwhen anew memory card is used,or after
formatting,orafter deleting all pictures.
[Reset]: After usingthe reset function,the next file name wilt beset from
000t even after formatting, deletingallor insertinga new memory
card.
5.Press the menubuttontwice and the menuwill disappear.
-The first storedfolder name is100SSCAM, and the first file name is
SS850001.
-Filenames are assigned sequentiallyfrom SS850001 _ SS850002 _ ~
SS859999.
-The folder number is assignedsequentiallyfrom 100 to 999as follows:
100SSCAM_ 101SSCAM _ ~ _ 999SSCAM.
-The files usedwith the memorycard conform to the DCF (Designrule for
CameraFile systems) format. If you change the image file name, the image
maynot play back.
[Autopower off ]
• This function switches the camera off aftera set amount of time inorder to
preventunnecessary batterydrainage.
• Sub menus
[Off] :The power off functionwill not
operate.
[1,3,5,10 mini : The power willturn off
automaticallyifnot usedfor the
periodoftime specified.
-Afterreplacingthe battery, the power offsetting win
bepreserved.
-Notethatthe automatic powerofffunction will not operate if the camerais in
PCmode, slide show, playing back a voice recording,playingback a movieclip
andtaking a compositeshot.
[Language]
• Thereis a choice of languages that can bedisplayedon theLCD monitor.
Evenifthe battery is removed andinserted again, the language settingwill be
preserved.
