Estos programas le permiten elegir entrenar en tres diferentes zonas de frecuencia cardiaca; del 60 al 70% de la frecuencia cardiaca máxima, del 70 al 80% de la fre- cuencia cardiaca máxima y del del 80 al 90% de la frecuencia cardiaca máxima.

Las zonas se calculan basándose en su edad y en el porcentaje de frecuencia car- diaca máxima que ha seleccionado para hacer ejercicio.

***Rogamos observe: debe agarrar los sensores de frecuencia cardiaca situados en el manillar para que el ordenador le tome el pulso y los programas de Heart Rate Control funcionen eficazmente.

60% - 70% de la frecuencia cardiaca máxima – Zona de entrenamiento general: zona de consumo de grasas. La realización de ejercicio en esta zona mejora el esta- do físico general, se comienza a desarrollar la resistencia y contribuye en gran medi- da a controlar el peso utilizando principalmente calorías grasas para crear energía.

70% - 80% de la frecuencia cardiaca máxima – Zona aeróbica de entrenamiento: entrenamiento de resistencia: Hacer ejercicio en esta zona se mejora el estado físico general, la eficacia cardiovascular y la resistencia.

80% -90% de la frecuencia cardiaca máxima – Zona anaeróbica de entrenamien- to: entrenamiento de rendimento: Hacer ejercicio en esta zona maximiza el acondicio- namiento físico y el rendimiento atlético. ***Le recomendamos que consulte con su médico antes de realizar ejercicio en esta zona.***
