,QIOXHQFLQJWKH'HIHUUDO%HKDYLRUTo overcome the performance issue described on previous pages, you can
choose to design a high performance network based on the following
principles:
• Add more Radio Link Modules to your network.
• Configure Access Points RLMs in neighboring cells to operate at
different frequency channels with a maximum channel separation (see
Frequency Channel Management (page 138)).
•Adjust the 'LVWDQFH%HWZHHQ$3V parameter to opti mize the load
balance of the number of wireless stations per Access Point RLM (see
Distance Between APs (page 194)).

By changing the 'LVWDQFHEHWZHHQ$3V parameter from /DUJH to
0HGLXP or 6PDOO, you can virtually reduce the receiver sensitivity of the
wireless radios, that will show the following behavior:
• The stations will show a more active roaming behavior and connect to
one of the added Access Points RLMs more quickly.
