6WHS &UHDWHD%DFNXSRIWKH&RQILJXUDWLRQAt all times when you change the configuration of the Access Point RLM,
we recommend that you create a back-up file of the configuration. You can
use this back-up to quickly restore the Radio Link Module configuration in
situations where:
• Your Access Point RLM goes out of service.
• You would like to recreate the original configuration of the RLM that you
had to replace (for example following a repair).
• When you need to perform a forced reload as described in
Forced Reload Procedure (page 244).
To create a back-up file proceed as follows:
1. Start the RLM Manager program.
2. Select the RLM you want to create a backup of.
3. From the Radio Link Module menu select 'RZQORDG&RQILJ)LOH.
4. When prompted for a name, enter a name that allows you to easily
recognize the relationship between the file name and the Radio Link
Module.
5. Record the filename and the location where the RLM will be installed on
the “Access Point RLM Configuration Record” in table Access Point
Configuration Record (page 235).
To install and configure other Access Points RLMs, refer back to Step1 -
Installing the Access Point RLM (page 60).
