Security measures, such as access control, become ineffective when
unauthorized persons can view and modify the configuration of your Radio
Link Modules.
To protect your network configuration from undesired modifications, you are
advised to implement the following measures:
• Read and read/write passwords
• SNMP IP address access list
• Trap host alert mechanisms (optional)

To restrict access to the Access Point RLM configuration information, you
can create two authority levels for passwords:
• Read password
• Read/write password

A read password will only provide access to the Radio Link Module to
monitor diagnostic information found under 0RQLWRU button in the main
RLMM anager window.
You can define a read password in the field 5HDG3DVVZRUG on the 6103
tab (Select Access Point RLM from list, click (GLW and select 6103 tab).
The default value is “public”.
