SCALANCE X-400

71-Gbit ports and 100-Mbit ports (optical/electrical, number and version depend on device)

7Modular design for flexible electrical or optical Industrial Ethernet networks; variable network topology, type and num- ber of ports (retrofitting of optical ports, extension by 8 further ports with X414-3E)

7Digital inputs

7Redundant 24 V DC supply

7Redundancy manager for the ring

7Standby redundancy (redundant connection between two rings)

7Many ports at one central position in the control cabinet

7IP20 protection

7Electrical 100-Mbit ports with collar for FastConnect cabling system

7Router functionality (X414-3E; connection of two subnets)

7Support of office standards such as virtual LANs incl. priority assignment (port-based VLANs), Rapid Spanning Tree (RSTP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) or IP Multicast filtering (e.g. for video applications) permits integra- tion of automation networks into company networks

7Configuration of MAC address filters

7Slot numbering and labeling strips
