Broadcasting
Youcan broadcast yourdeskt opto t heentire class or to a group. You can also broadcast
astudent’s desktop or give control of the broadcastt o a student.
NO T E
If youwant to broadcast videoor mediafiles, disable the mirrordriver inthe
advancedpreferences(see Setting the AdvancedPreferences on page95) or
click the Show Media button (see SharingMedia onpage 37).

Broadcasting YourDesktop

Youcan broadcast yourdeskt opto theentire class or select st udentsin either Full
Screenor Window mode.I n Full Screenmode, your broadcastf ills the students’
screens,and they can’t view or use other applicationsduring the broadcast.I n Window
mode,your desktop appearsin a window on the students’ desktops and they can switch
betweenthis window and otherapplications.
To broadcastyour desktop 1. Click Thumbnails .
TheThumbnailsv iew appears.
2. Click All C omputersor All Studentsto broadcast to all students.
OR
Click a group’stab to broadcast to only students in the group.
OR
Selectst udents’t humbnailsto broadcast to only those students.
3. Click Broadcast .
Amessage appears, asking if you want to broadcast yourdeskt op.
