CreatingApplicationBlocking Rules
Youcan create applicationblocking rules in SMART Sync Teacher.Alternatively, you
canload rules createdby other teachers (see SharingApplication Blocking Rules on
page66)or use rules created by an administratoror teacherin SMARTSy nc
AdministratorTool.
To createa rule 1. Click Applications .
TheApplications view appears.
2. Click Add New .
TheNew Application Blocking Rule dialog box appears.
3. Typea name for the rulein the Enter Block RuleName box.
4. Click Block the following applications to allow all applications except those
youinclude in the rule.
OR
Click Block all exceptthe following applications to block all applications
exceptthose you include in the rule.
