Closingan Applicationon Students’Computers
Youcan remotely close an applicationon every student’s computer.
CA U T I O N
If you remotelyclose a s tudent’sapplication, the application closes immediately
andany unsavedwork is lost. Advise students to save theirwork before
completingthe following procedure.

If SMART Classroom Suite is installed on your students’ computers, youc an
closeSMAR TN otebookSE even if it isn’t installedon your computer.
To closean application on
students’computers
1. Click Applications .
TheApplications view appears.
2. Click All C omputersor All Studentsto close an applicationfor all st udents.
OR
Click a group’stab to c losean application for only students in the group.
3. Click Close .
TheClose application remotelydialog box appears.
4. Selectan application, and thenclic k Close.

With theexc eptionof SMAR T NotebookSE , an applicationmust be
installedon your computerto appear in the Close applicationremotely
dialogbox.
Theapplication closes on the selecteds tudents’c omputers.
oIf the applicationcloses succ essfully on all the selected students’
computers,a message appearsindicating that the applicationclosed
successfully. Click OK to clear the message.
oIf the applicationisn’t open on a selected student’s computer,a message
appearsindicatingthat the application failed to close on that student’s
computer.Click OK to clear the message.
