lIf you want to sharea W indows Media®(.wmv) f ile with a student, the
student’scomputer must have Windows Media Player 7 orlater and
DirectX® 9.0 orlater.
Sharinga Media File
To sharea media file 1. Click Thumbnails .
TheThumbnailsv iew appears.
2. Click All C omputersor All Studentsto sharemedia with all s tudents.
OR
Click a group’stab to s haremedia with only students in the group.
3. Click Show Media .
TheSend MediaFile dialog box appears.
4. Browseto and select the media file you want to play, and then click Send.
TheSendingMedia dialog box appears.This dialog box displays the estimated
timeit will take to send this file to the selected students. When all students have
receivedthe mediaf ile, it starts playing automatically.
NO T E
Allof themedia file controls, such as the Play and Stop buttons, are
disableduntil all the students have receivedthe file.

If you decideyou don’t want to play the media file (for example, if the
estimatedtime is t oolong or you decide to play a different mediafile), clic k
Cancel.When the message appearsasking for confirmation, click Yes.
