Setting the Lock-Out Message
Youcan get your students’ attention by locking students’ desktops andpresenting them
witha s implemess age(see Locking Student Desktops on page26). The default
messageis “Eyes t o thef ront,please”, but you can change this message.
To setthe lock-out
message
1. SelectOptions > Preferences.
ThePreferencesdialog box appears.
2. Click the Lock Screent ab.
3. Typea message in the Lock-out messagebox.
4. Click the button next to Text, select a color, and then click OK to change the text
color.
5. Click the button next to Background,select a c olor,and then click OK to c hange
thebackgroundcolor.
6. Click OK.
To returnthe lock-out
messageto its default
settings
1. SelectOptions > Preferences.
ThePreferencesdialog box appears.
2. Click the Lock Screent ab.
3. Click Defaults.
4. Click OK.
