Teledyne 300 Calibration, 8.1REQUIRED EQUIPMENT AND GAS STANDARDS, Be Careful When Pulling In Outside Air

FAQ

What equipment and gas standards are required for calibration?

Zero air must be free of CO less than 0.1 ppm, and calibration gas concentrations must be generated from an NIST-traceable cylinder of CO-in-air.

What precautions should be taken when pulling in outside air?

Be careful, particularly if outside humidity and temperature are high, as condensation may result which can lead to unstable operation or water contamination in the cell.

What materials should the calibration gas delivery system be made of?

Stainless steel, TFE, and FEP Teflon are recommended for the materials in the calibration gas delivery system.
