	5 Network Scanning
Option	Description
Add Date to Name	Use this option when you want the machine to
	name the new file (or folder) with a unique name,
	along with the current date and time.

File Format

Use the File Format option when the job is to be sent with a different file format than that set as the template default.

Option	Description
	Portable Document Format. Given the right software the
PDF	recipient of the scanned image can view or print the file, no
	matter what their computer platform. PDF files usually open
	with Adobe Acrobat Readers.
Multi-Page	Tagged-Image File Format. A graphic file that can be opened
	in a variety of graphic software packages across a variety of
TIFF
	computer platforms.
Single-Page	Tagged-Image File Format. A graphic file that can be opened
	in a variety of graphic software packages across a variety of
TIFF
	computer platforms.
	JPEG formats are graphic files, that can be accessed with all
JPEG	graphics or image editing applications.
	NOTE: JPEG option is available only in Color and Grayscale
	mode.
XPS	XML Paper Specification. Provides a page-by-page view of
	the document's content as it would be printed..

Document Management Fields

Document Management Fields provide information which is filed with your scanned documents in the Job Log.

Third party applications can be used to search, file and distribute jobs based on their Job Log information.

Add File Destinations

The System Administrator can set up multiple Network Scanning destinations on the machine. Once configured, a user can add any of these destinations to their existing template.
