7.14Accessing the iPod Touch Web Configurator

To access the iPod Touch Web Configurator through your iPod Touch you must first connect it to the NBG-460N’s wireless network. Follow the steps below to do this.

Note: If you have not configured your wireless settings yet you can do so by using the Wizard in the Web Configurator you access from your computer. Click the

Wizard icon or the Go To Wizard Setup web link you see after logging into the Web Configurator from your computer. See Chapter 4 on page 49 for more information on using the Wizard.

1On the iPod Touch’s main screen press Settings and then press Wi-fi.

2On the list of networks press the NBG-460N’s network name (SSID) to connect to it. If you are prompted for any security settings enter them and press connect.

The pre-shared key is case-sensitive. If you have problems connecting then try checking the security settings in the Web Configurator from your computer and try again.

7.14.1 Accessing the iPod Touch Web Configurator

Now that you are connected to the NBG-460N’s wireless network you can access the iPod Touch Web Configurator. To do this follow the steps below:

1Launch the iPod Touch’s web browser from the main screen. The default web browser is Safari.

2Enter the IP address of the NBG-460N into the address bar and go to that address. The default IP address for the NBG-460N is 192.168.1.1.
