The LAN port can be configured as a DHCP client where it will automatically obtain its configuration information from a DHCP server on the LAN.

The Campus-REX2 can provide DHCP relay services to devices on its LAN. As a DHCP relay agent, the Campus-REX2 can forward requests for IP configuration to a DHCP server for which you configure the IP address.
