You can search for names you have stored.

Pick up the handset.

OR

Press Speaker Phone.

Press Search/Mute, then enter the first letter of the name you are looking for by using the dial pad.

Press or to search the names that are displayed alphabetically.

When the screen displays the name you want to call, press Start/Copy to begin dialling.

To hang up, replace the handset.

OR

Press Speaker Phone.

Answering Calls with the Speakerphone

When the machine rings, instead of lifting the handset, press Speaker Phone. Speak clearly, toward the microphone. To end the call, press Speaker Phone.

If you have a bad telephone line connection, the other party might hear your voice echoed during the call. Hang up and try the call again—OR—Pick up the handset.

3 Pick up the machine’s handset or press Speaker Phone to release the call from hold.

If you press Search/Mute without lifting the handset or pressing Speaker Phone, this key works as the Search key.

You can select to play or not to play a music during a call put on hold. (See Setting the Music on Hold on page 4-8.)
